What is it?

MachNumber is a superior web-based software solution designed to help on-demand operators price, dispatch, debrief and then retrieve reports about their flying.  The software runs on our servers and in your browser.  Your data is stored on our secure servers.  Nothing has to be installed on your computer apart from Microsoft's Internet Explorer, in most cases that’s already installed.

Our approach is straightforward.  You, your employees and your customers interact with your trip data on your very own smart internet portal in real time. Your entire organization will operate off of a single set of shared real-time data and can do so from multiple locations.  Off-site administration and charter management are a snap.

Our software system was developed to support your charter process: Price it, Dispatch it, Debrief it when the trip has come home - then have your all of your trip records securely stored and sensibly presented.

A unique trip number is assigned as trips are priced and follow each of your trips through completion.  If your a customer has their own billing reference, there's a provision to associate a customer trip number with each trip record as well.

We store your data for the previous calendar year, plus the current year to date.  You can retrieve your data at any time for use locally.

Primary Modules

Trip Pricing
Your charter pricing policies are applied in a rule-based system that guarantees pricing consistency no matter who is pricing the trip or where the trip is being priced from.  Who sets the pricing rules?  You do!  Provisions exist for you to include your usual fees for short legs, landing fees, FET, discounts, etc. with a place for each category of charge.

You can add and delete pricing categories to match the way you do business, to reflect your own company's way of operating.  The trip pricing process is very quick -- only the information required to provide a complete and accurate price is needed. A detailed, unique record of the quote is stored in a secure on-line database for future reference, or for when your trip goes live and is processed in the Dispatch application.

Dispatch
The dispatch section of the application retrieves the stored trip pricing record and allows you to add the actual trip detail your crews will use while on the road.  A nicely formatted charter sheet can be printed for your crew to use and there's a companion document tailored for your charter coordinator or dispatcher's use.  A detailed, unique database record of your trip's status at dispatch is preserved for future use.

The document your crew sees contains only the operations information you've entered into the database for their trip. Trip economic information is accessible for your charter coordinator and  company managers.

Trip Management
This optional module loads your trip's record from the dispatch database and helps you follow along with your flying.  You can easily add Out-Off-On-In times as they are called in and can add notes to the trip record regarding operational and billing events for later reference.

Trip Debrief
Once your charter is complete, the debrief section of the application prompts you for all of the trip’s economic and operational information.  A unique record of the debriefed trip is stored in our secure on-line database.  An invoice may be printed, faxed or emailed if you like.  Operational and financial reports can be retrieved from the database of debriefed trips.

Reporting
Trip data entered into the debrief database is accessed from Reports page to provide you with a detailed view of your carrier's operational and financial information.  Flight Time & Duty reports, aircraft utilization reports, landing fee reports - an extensive collection of reports is available to you, your customers, your employees and (optionally) your regulators.  Your proprietary information is carefully protected.

Administration
An interface is provided that allows you to add and amend users, airplanes, rates and customers.  Managers and your designated company Administrator set trip pricing policy.

Customer Focused Software - It is all about you

Tailored for the user
The set of reports available for pilot use is limited to an operational view of the flights they were involved with.  Similarly, your customers will only be able to view the financial aspects of flights that you have flown for them. If you grant your CHDO access, they will see aircraft operations information and pilot Flight Time & Duty records only.

Because organizations typically have employees wearing many hats; you can easily amend a pilot's permissions (for example) so that the pilot could price and dispatch their own trip. It's easy to set your own user's permissions differently than system defaults.

Management reporting set helps you identify economic and operational trends.  You can always drill down to the details of each of your trips.  Reports such as pilot Flight Time and Landing Fee (by airport) are built-in.

Productivity
As we've designed this software suite for you, we've kept in mind that each time your phone rings, someone in your organization has to answer it.  If the call is to price or book a trip, that's a good thing.  But when customers call for charges detail, your productivity sags.  With your managers, employees, customers and (optionally) regulators all using and sharing your real-time data over a secure internet connection, your carrier will operate more efficiently because you've unlocked and shared vital operational information.

Through your company's personalized, encrypted home page, you determine who has access.  Your users are checked in by use of an individual login that you assign. Access is controlled through a powerful set of permissions where you set the program capabilities permitted and you control the data that can be viewed.

Your Privacy
