How does Aviation Records
Corporation
safeguard your information?
We pay close attention to
security. The MachNumber web application site is safe and secure. Our
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is an industry standard protocol for transmitting
private documents and secure commerce transactions via the Internet. SSL
works by using a private key to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL
connection. Many web sites use the protocol to obtain confidential user
information, such as credit card numbers. By convention, URLs that require
an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:.
Credit Card numbers for
service placed online at AvRecords.com are very carefully guarded using industry
standards plus an additional proprietary, encrypted procedure of our own.
We utilize technology as well
as implement electronic, physical and managerial procedures to try to make
sure that external parties cannot access or modify user's or customer's
personal information on our servers. These technologies and procedures
include industry standard methods plus extra measures we have instituted.
However, while we strive to
protect your personal information, it is impossible for Aviation Records Corporation to
guarantee the security of the information you transmit to us. In this
regard, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data
while you are on the Internet. At a minimum, we encourage you to change your
passwords often, using a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure
that you are using a secure browser as you surf the Internet.
We hope you enjoy using the
MachNumber web application. |
